Instructions
Place the frozen banana slices in a high-speed blender or food processor.
Add the peanut butter, cocoa powder, maple syrup (if using), vanilla extract, and sea salt to the blender.
Blend on high until the mixture becomes smooth and creamy, stopping occasionally to scrape down the sides as needed.
Taste the nice cream and adjust sweetness by adding more maple syrup if desired before blending again.
Once fully combined and creamy, transfer the nice cream to an airtight container.
If you prefer a soft-serve consistency, you can enjoy it right away. For a firmer texture, freeze for an additional 1-2 hours before serving.
Serve in bowls or cones and top with dark chocolate chips or chopped nuts, if desired.
