Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, breadcrumbs, chopped green onions, minced garlic, grated ginger, and the beaten egg. Season with salt and pepper. Mix until all ingredients are well incorporated.
Using your hands, form the mixture into small meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter, and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
In a small bowl, whisk together the sweet chili sauce, soy sauce, honey, and sesame oil until well combined.
Once the meatballs are cooked, remove them from the oven and drizzle or brush the sweet chili glaze over the meatballs. Toss gently to ensure they are well coated.
For a caramelized finish, place the glazed meatballs under the broiler for 2-3 minutes, keeping a close eye on them to avoid burning.
Transfer the glazed chicken meatballs to a serving platter. Garnish with sesame seeds and additional chopped green onions.
Notes
For extra flavor, broil the meatballs after glazing.
