Instructions
Start by peeling and dicing the mango into small cubes. Place them in a mixing bowl.
Carefully chop the habanero peppers. If you prefer less heat, remove the seeds before chopping. Add them to the bowl with the mango.
Finely chop the red onion and add it into the bowl, followed by the chopped cilantro.
Squeeze the juice of two fresh limes over the mixture.
Sprinkle in the salt, garlic powder, and cumin (if using).
Gently fold all the ingredients together with a spatula or wooden spoon until evenly combined.
Taste the salsa and adjust the seasoning by adding more salt, lime juice, or habanero if desired.
For best flavor, refrigerate the salsa for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
