chickpeas, drained and rinsed

tahini

fresh lime juice

jalapeno, seeded and chopped

Instructions
In a food processor, combine the drained chickpeas, tahini, lime juice, chopped jalapeno, and minced garlic.
Pulse the mixture until it is well blended and smooth.
While the processor is running, slowly drizzle in the olive oil until the hummus achieves a creamy consistency.
Add the ground cumin, and season with salt and pepper to taste. Blend again until fully incorporated.
Taste and adjust seasoning or add more lime juice for extra tang if desired.
Transfer the hummus to a serving bowl, and use a spoon to create a small well in the center.
Drizzle with a bit more olive oil, and garnish with fresh cilantro leaves.
Notes
Serve with lime wedges and colorful vegetable sticks for dipping.
