Instructions
In a mixing bowl, combine the almond flour and rolled oats, stirring until well mixed.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the almond butter, maple syrup, brown sugar, vanilla extract, and salt until smooth.
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry mixture and mix until combined. The mixture will be thick.
Gently fold in the dark chocolate chips and chopped nuts if using.
Line an 8x8 inch square baking pan with parchment paper. Press the cookie dough mixture into the pan, spreading it evenly.
Place the pan in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to firm up.
Once set, remove from the pan and cut into squares or bars.
Notes
Arrange the bars on a decorative platter and drizzle with melted chocolate or sprinkle with sea salt for extra flair!
