In a large mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats, almond butter, and honey (or maple syrup). Stir until well mixed.
Add the chopped dried cranberries, orange zest, fresh orange juice, chia seeds, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt to the mixture.
Use your hands or a spatula to thoroughly combine all the ingredients until a sticky mixture forms.
Once mixed, cover the bowl and refrigerate for about 30 minutes to make the mixture easier to handle.
After chilling, use your hands to scoop and roll the mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter.
Place the power balls on a parchment-lined baking sheet or plate.
Refrigerate for another 30 minutes to firm up before serving. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge.
