Instructions
Peel the bananas and cut each banana into three equal pieces. Insert a popsicle stick into each piece, creating banana pops.
In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the dark chocolate chips and coconut oil. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until smooth and fully melted.
Prepare a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Dip each banana pop into the melted chocolate, making sure to coat it thoroughly. Allow any excess chocolate to drip off.
Immediately roll the chocolate-covered banana pops in either crushed nuts, shredded coconut, or a combination of both to add texture and flavor.
Place the coated banana pops on the prepared baking sheet. Repeat with remaining banana pieces.
Once all are coated, place the baking sheet in the freezer and let the banana pops set for at least 1 hour.
After they are fully frozen, remove them from the freezer and enjoy your delicious treat!
